Marcos was very professional, gave a clear explanation of the estimate and understood my high expectations for the work to be done on my wife's new Mercedes. He kept in constant touch with us regarding the timeline and completion day, and met the estimated schedule for the work to be finished. The paint work on the front of my wife's car was remarkable. He perfectly matched a difficult silver metallic paint, repaired not only the area we discussed, but touched up several small nicks he found in other areas. The finished buffed paint work matched the original Mercedes finish perfectly. Marcos and his crew exceeded my very high expectations. I can't speak highly enough of him and his shop.”

There are a lot of moving parts in the auto body business and Privilege did them all with excellence. The quality of workmanship, service and turnaround were top rate. Marcos takes a lot of pride in his business. So much so that I will be called back to replace one of my new head lamps because he wasn't happy when he saw a little build up of moisture after washing my car. The paint matching and repairs are perfect and seamless. He replaced both headlamps so that they looked alike; only one was damaged. He sent my tire rim out to be buffed and it too is perfect. He repaired and painted a couple of door dings that were not part of the accident at no additional cost. Thank you!

“Found Privilege after an extensive search of highly rated body shops in the South Bay. Reasonable pricing, excellent body work, and professional work ethic all are indicative of thier 5 Star rating.

My Lexus GS350 went in with the front end completely destroyed and Marcos's guys had it in like new shape in less than 3 weeks. They always had great communication and provided regular updates through the repair process. Marcos was very transparent about aftermarket vs OEM part pricing and where money could be saved. I paid for this job out of pocket but it was money well spent. I would recommend them for anyone looking for a high quality repair and will definitely use Privilege Auto Body in the future.”

“Have you ever gotten anxiety from a car accident or a scratch/dent on your car? I have unfortunately experienced both on separate occasions and the only body shop I trust is Privilege Auto Body. Being a girl and dealing with car problems is the worst! You never know if someone is trying to rip you off by charging additional unnecessary things or who to trust when leaving your vehicle. Any time something happens to my car I can just call Marcos. He is always honest, straightforward, and dependable. He is experienced in dealing with body work and will get your car back to you as soon as possible. The only criticism I have for this business is it is hard to see from the main streets. If you can find the Shell gas station on Crenshaw and 190th then you have found this body shop, it's located right behind it. Other than that this is definitely the place you want to go if you need any kind of body work done. if I could give this place 10 stars I would!!!!”

“DON'T HESITATE TO GO HERE. I spoke with Marco over the phone to discuss a deep scratch on my bumper. He agreed to take a look and do his best to fix the problem. I was prepared to pay the $60 he quoted me to buff it out. Once completed, he was kind enough not to charge me for it!!! Unfortunately, the scratch was too deep for a complete fix, but it looks MUCH better. If any of my cars need work, I'm definitely taking them here!”

“I was extremely impressed by Marco's work. He went the extra mile for me and straightened the frame without cutting it off the car. He remained very professional even when dealing with a very lousy insurance the other party had (who hit my car had). I was kept up to date on everything that was going on with the insurance and was assured that everything was going to turn out ok despite the insurance trying to cheap out. Most shops you find on yelp don't post any. They just put the after. I called and spoke to Marcos the owner. He was very helpful and answered all my questions over the phone. A week later we took our SUV in. We didn't get our car back at the time we expected but it wasn't Marcos fault, our insurance wasn't doing their part so the process got delayed. “I had a very good experience with Privilege Auto Body & Paint in Torrance. I was hit on my left rear and there was damage on quarter panel and bumper fascia. I got an estimate from the insurance company suggested body shop and a 2nd one from Privilege. At a very fair and competitive price Privilege did a fantastic job within the time frame they promised. They met the original estimate, although they had do an unplanned blending job on the door panel. Marcos was very helpful from the beginning until the end and craftsmanship of his team was excellent. “I needed to get an estimate for my repair. I had called several places(one place said they charge for a 'free estimate) and Privilege was at the top of the search list. I went by on the appointment time. The owner had 2 other customers with him but made sure to let me know that I was going to be helped next.

He looked at the car, took me into the office(air conditioned!) and let me know what would be involved. Gave me a detailed printout of the estimate and a business card. He never tried to rush me out or anything.

I also saw the owner explaining the same thing over and over to another customer because she didn't understand completely but he always smiled and was patient.”

Actually, he deserves more than a 5-star review, but I will start here. Over the holidays, I was in an accident in my Highlander Hybrid and the entire front end was smashed in. This car is my baby and I don't trust many people with my car. I knew Marcos had great reviews, but I still wanted to meet him in person. I was impressed right away with his honesty and his thorough explanation of what needed to be done. He also gave me a very reasonable price so I decided to give him the job. Not only did he have the car ready as promised, but honestly, the car looked better than new. Such a professional.

However, I learned the most amazing thing about Marcos and his body shop, after he fixed my Highlander......

Approximately one week after my Highlander was fixed, I had to ship my sister's Ford Mustang to the east coast. However, I first needed to have her gear shift replaced. I decided to call Marcos and see if he did that kind of work. He literally treated me like family when I called and said, “Sure, bring the car in.” Then while I was driving the car over to Marcos, I received a call from the shipping company saying they were ready to pick the car up in an hour! After suffering a panic attack, I was able to get the company to give a brief delay. I then called Marcos and explained the situation to him and he said, “No problem, I will take care of it for you.” I couldn't believe it but Marcos was able to get the car ready and shipped for me on time. I knew Marcos was busy, but he still made time for me because he understood my stressful predicament. He came through big time and handled everything. Thanks to him, my sister's car was shipped to her without delay. What a guy you are, Marcos! I mention this story because it shows what a truly good man he is and that he really cares about his customers. I don't know of any body shop that would treat its customers this good.”

“Well, here's an update, sadly for me, cuz I got forced into a guard rail and really racked up the entire right side of my Mustang! Took it back to Marcos and made arrangements for a good week for him to start on the repairs. His quote was reasonable, I thought, as usual, but didn't bother to get another estimate, since he did such a great job the first time, I trust him. He said it would take 4-5 days to complete, so I took it in on a Monday, and it was basically done by Thursday. Unfortunately we had some bad, damp weather conditions and he asked if he could keep it there for a couple more days for the paint to really dry before he buffed it out. I have an extra vehicle so I told him that would be fine. I'd rather have the best job possible done, so by the following week Tuesday it was ready for pickup and it looked amazing!! Just like new! “I went to Privilege to get a quote on a paint job for my 1990 Porsche 944. It's 25 years old and the weather had burnt the paint. Marcos ran some tests against the vehicle and recommended light sanding, buff and shine instead because I was preparing the car for sale. In the end I ended up saving thousands of dollars and the car looks great. I was told by everybody that my only option was to paint the car. But Marcos proved them wrong in less than a few minutes.

I wish I had found Privilege sooner. Maybe I could've been able to enjoy the car a bit before having to sell it.”

“I had the paint on the hood of my car chipped off in several places leaving big ugly patches. What happened was that the clear protection coat had baked in the paint for years so when it started chipping it began to remove the paint along with the coating. It looked embarrassing even more than with dents. Marcos was polite and friendly and offered me a couple of options. Since my car is old, I went with the slightly cheaper option. His team did excellent body work and matched the shade new paint with clear coat to the old paint on the fenders as best as it could possible be. I have to add a note about honesty. During the estimate, Marcos said that if the job were to finish sooner, he would deduct the unused labor from the quote, no guarantees. He said that in his estimate he had to accounting for problems he anticipated based on the work condition. In the end, he told me he had the job finished earlier than estimated and gave me a sweet discount on the estimated cost. I appreciate their honesty and efforts in doing that and putting the customer first. Also during pick up, there were some scratches to the hood and grill area which had chipped off the paint. Upon request, Marcos had those patched for no charge with no wait. I definitely recommend Marcos' Privilege Auto Body Shop.”

THE -'s: the shop is tucked inside a corner island between crenshaw and 190th so it's hard to find. in fact, i wouldn't have known it was there until my co-worker pointed it out.

SUM: so my charcoal jetta was swiped on the left side by stupid teenagers who weren't watching where they were going -- and then i just *had* to get a matching scrape on the right side when i was so tired i couldn't judge the distance to a metal-wrapped pole (so i hit stationary objects, so what!). marcos gave me exact deets how he would fix the scrapes and clearly spelled everything out on the estimate. five days later, i get my car back and can't even tell where the big scrape on the right side was. seriously. the car's like new again. money well spent. i'll be coming here for all my auto-body fixes in the future.”
